The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened the application window for placement into select programmes at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC). In its latest update, KUCCPS announced that 26 programmes—7 certificate courses and 19 diploma programmes—are available, with limited slots for the April 2025 intake.
Application deadline is April 30, 2025 and all applications must be submitted through the KUCCPS Student Portal: students.kuccps.net.

Applicants interested in foundational training in healthcare can choose from the following KMTC certificate courses:

- Health Records and Information Technology
- Medical Emergency Technician
- Medical Engineering
- Nutrition and Dietetics
- Orthopaedic Trauma Medicine

These programmes are practical oriented and very competitive.
