TSC has 2,014 teaching vacancies to fill, these are mostly positions left by teachers who exited through natural attrition. The recruitment targets public primary, junior secondary, and secondary schools across the country.
Breakdown of the Vacancies
According to the TSC website:
- 1,309 positions for primary schools
- 32 positions for junior secondary
- 673 positions for secondary schools
All will be on permanent and pensionable terms.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
To apply, you must:
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Be registered with TSC
- Have a P1 certificate for primary school positions
- Have a diploma in education for junior or secondary school positions
The Commission will give preference to teachers who have never been employed by TSC.

Deadline is Monday, May 19, at midnight. Manual applications will not be accepted.
