Essential Guidelines for TSC Duplicate Registration Application

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has implemented an online registration application process. To ensure a smooth and accurate submission, applicants are required to adhere to the following important notes:

  1. Online Applications Only:
  2. Complete All Sections:
    • Ensure that every section of the registration application is completed in full.
  3. Accuracy is Crucial:
    • Willfully providing false information is a serious offence. Conviction may result in a fine of up to Ksh 100,000 or imprisonment for twelve (12) months or both (Section 44 of TSC Act No. 20 of 2012).
  4. Save and Continue:
    • You can save part of the form and continue at a later time if needed.
  5. Scanning and Uploading Documents:
    • Only original documents should be scanned and uploaded.
    • Expatriate Teachers must attach a clearance letter from the Ministry of Education Vetting Committee.
  6. Application Fees:
    • For New Registration, a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1050/- must be paid through E-Citizen government payment methods (MPesa, Airtel Money, KCB Cash, Equity Cash, E-Agent) before submitting the application.
    • For Duplicate Certificate Application, a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 2050/- is required through the same payment methods.
  7. Upcoming Changes in Application Fees:
    • Starting from 1st July 2023, application fees will be paid during the process through the Government Pay Bill Business Number 222222 or approved government methods.
