TSC Advertises CEO Position as Dr. Nancy Macharia Prepares to Retire

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has advertised the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as Dr. Nancy Macharia prepares to retire on June 30, 2025. The announcement was made through the MyGov government publication.

Dr. Macharia’s tenure is set to end after a 10-year stewardship that began on June 2015. Her term was extended in 2020 after her first five-year stint.

A Decade of Leadership at TSC

Dr. Macharia was the first female CEO of the TSC, taking over from Gabriel Lengoiboni in a competitive recruitment process that began on May 1, 2015.
