Celebrations at Lugulu Girls’ High School as Withheld 2024 KCSE Results Are Released

Lugulu Girls’ High School was a happy place on Saturday 19th January morning after KNEC released the 2024 KCSE results. The school’s performance has cemented its position among the top schools in Kenya.

Record Breaking Results

With a mean of 9.3417 the school improved from 9.3306 in 2023. Out of the 676 candidates who sat for the exams 672 got C+ and above meaning 99.41% transition to university.

The school also had zero candidates with D’s and E’s. The Chief Principal Dinah Cheruyoit attributed this to the students and teachers saying:

“The grades are a result of students’ hard work and teachers’ dedication.”

Delays

The two weeks delay in releasing the results had caused so much anxiety to the students, parents and staff but the outcome was worth the wait.

Former Bungoma County KUPPET official and educationist Denson Barasa praised the students:

“Our girls have done us proud. These results are a result of their hard work, our teachers’ dedication and our parents’ support.”

A Moment of Joy and Appreciation

Parents and students were so excited and grateful to the school for its commitment to academic excellence. Many described the wait as tough but worth it.

The school celebrated with banners, songs and cheers as another milestone for Lugulu Girls.

More of the Same

The 0.0111 improvement in the mean grade shows the school is committed to quality education. Lugulu Girls’ High School is a force to be reckoned with.
