The Ministry of Education has released the co-curricular activities schedule for 2025 Term 1 which will start immediately after schools open from the half term break. Schools will break for half term on 25th February 2025 and will open on 2nd March 2025.
The Ministry has clarified that activities will be divided into primary, junior secondary and secondary schools with strict age restrictions applied to participants.
Age Limits for Participants
To ensure fairness and to protect younger students the Ministry has re-introduced age limits for co-curricular activities:
- Primary schools: Below 12 years old.
- Junior secondary schools: Below 15 years old.
- Secondary schools: Below 18 years old.
