Kagumo Boys High School in Nyeri County has once again secured a place among the academic giants within Kenya after posturing sterling performances in the 2024 KCSE exams.
A mean score of 9.45(B+) compared to 8.92 in 2023 saw the school once again post an impressive performance to emerge among the top-performing schools nationally. Out of the 446 candidates who sat the exam, 94.8% attained the minimum university entry grade of C+ and above, while 55% of the candidates scored straight As and A-minuses.

The top candidate, from the same school, who scored an impressive A with 84 points expressed his interest to study medicine at the University of Nairobi. He credited good a academic environment for his success, adding: “I am grateful to God, my parents and my teachers for their support. The journey was not easy but strong academic environment played a key role in Kagumo Boys.
