The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) is now accepting applications for subject panel membership for Senior School, targeting teachers, teacher educators and professionals from various industries.
Who Can Apply?
KICD is looking for educators with expertise in subjects offered in Senior School (Grades 10–12) which will begin in January 2026 when current Grade 9 learners finish their Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) in November 2025.
Eligible applicants should meet the following criteria:
✅ Be a certified teacher of a subject in Senior School or a tutor in a teacher training institution.
✅ Be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) or a relevant professional body (for industry professionals).
✅ Have at least five years of experience as a teacher, instructor, lecturer or industry expert.
✅ Previous experience as a KICD panelist is an added advantage.
✅ Examining experience with the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) or recognized international bodies is an added advantage.

- Submit letters from your Heads of Institutions confirming your qualifications.
- Attach copies of academic and professional certificates and any relevant testimonials.
- Apply manually to KICD.
