Kisumu Girls High School has bounced back as a force to be reckoned with after impressive results in the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams. The school in Kisumu town is among the schools that have made a comeback with great performance.
Performance Highlights
Of the 359 candidates who sat for the 2024 KCSE, 318 qualified for university admission, that’s 88.6% university transition rate. The school also got a mean score of 8.3 and a mean grade of B- , great improvement overall.

Principal’s Message
Chief Principal Doreen Buop attributed the school’s performance to the students and teachers. She thanked the Board of Management for their support which was key to these results.
“This is teamwork and consistency. I congratulate our candidates, teachers and the entire school community for their hard work,” said Principal Buop.
