The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced that the deadline for applications to universities, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions, and Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs) is April 21, 2025.
Support Centers Established to Assist Applicants
KUCCPS has set up 63 support centers across all 47 counties to support students applying. The centers will be open from April 2 to April 13, 2025.
In a statement issued on April 1, 2025, KUCCPS said students who need help with course selection and application should visit the centers during the support window.
“With the application window now open for degree, TVET, and Teacher Training College (TTC) programmes for the 2024 KCSE cohort and other school leavers, KUCCPS has set up support centers nationwide. Applicants seeking assistance should visit their nearest institution from April 2 to April 13, 2025,” the notice stated.

The support centers are located in universities and technical institutions:
- Universities: Alupe University, Chuka University, Dedan Kimathi University, Egerton University, Embu University, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology, Kabianga University, Kaimosi Friends University, Kibabii University, Kirinyaga University, Kisii University, Koitalel Samoei University College, Laikipia University.
- TVET Institutions: Baringo National Polytechnic, Belgut Technical and Vocational College, David Wambuli Technical and Vocational College, Emmurua Dikkir Technical and Vocational College, Endebess Technical Training College, Garsen Technical and Vocational College, Kaelo Technical and Vocational College, Kapcherop Technical and Vocational College, Kipsoen Technical and Vocational College, Kiteilakapel Technical and Vocational College, Laisamis Technical Training Institute Marsabit, Lamu East Technical and Vocational College, Limuru Technical and Vocational College, Lungalunga Technical and Vocational College, Mabera Technical Training Institute.
How to Apply for University and TVET Courses
KUCCPS has opened its online application portal for the 2024 KCSE candidates and other eligible applicants to select their courses.
To apply:
- Visit KUCCPS student portal: https://students.kuccps.net.
- Log in with your KCSE index number, KCSE year, and password.
- Browse available courses and institutions.
- Choose and submit your preferred programs.
- Pay the application fee via M-Pesa pay bill as instructed.
