New Moi University Acting VC Professor Kiplagat Kotut has assured students that missing marks will be a thing of the past under his leadership.
Speaking on Monday during his introduction, Prof. Kotut told students and staff that his administration will focus on transparency, efficiency and teamwork to restore the university to its former glory.

- No one will be barred from graduating due to missing marks.
- He will streamline academic processes to eliminate errors and inefficiencies in the grading system.

Leadership Shakeup at Moi University
The changes come after embattled VC Prof. Isaac Kosgey was sent on an eight-month compulsory leave. His two deputies Prof. Isaac Kimengi (Academic Affairs) and Prof. Kirimi Kiriamiti (Administration, Planning and Research) were sent on a one-year sabbatical.Also Senior Legal Officer Patronilla Chepkwony and Acting Chief Finance Officer Joshua Koecha were suspended.
