Nimrod Mbai Boosts Technical Education with Ksh 2.4M Grant to Kitui East TVC

Kitui East MP and UDA Chairperson Kitui County, Nimrod Mbai has taken a major step in promoting technical education in the region.

On Monday evening, Mbai presented Kitui East Technical and Vocational College (TVC) with Ksh 2.4 million cheque to support infrastructure development and overall institutional growth.

In further commitment to technical training, the MP promised to add Ksh 120 million to equip the institution with modern facilities. This will improve education quality, skills training and create more jobs for the youth in Kitui.

Education and Respective Political Engagement

At the function, Mbai emphasized education and asked the youth to focus on skill-building to secure their future. He also called for constructive political engagement and respect to national leaders including President William Ruto.

“This is about securing the future of our youth. By providing state-of-the-art facilities and practical skills we are unlocking big opportunities and equipping them for the job market,” he said.

Transforming Kitui East TVC into a Leading Institution

The funding will turn Kitui East TVC into a premier technical education institution benefiting hundreds of students. Educators, students and local leaders have welcomed the move saying it’s a game changer for Kitui East education.

Mbai reiterated his pledge to youth empowerment and regional development and technical education will remain priority in Kitui East.
