Nyanza Regional Director of Education in partnership with Nyanza Drama and Film Committee has announced a workshop for drama trainers and festival organizers. The workshop will take place from 22nd to 25th January 2025 at Kisii School in Kisii County.
Workshop Details
This workshop will cover the following creative and performing arts areas:
- Verses and narratives
- Play production
- Collaborative Contextual Drama (CCD)
- Stand-up comedy
- Modern dance and solo dance
- Mime
- Spoken word
- Eye and film production
How to Participate
The workshop fee is KSh 2,500 which covers training in the above areas.
The Director of Education has asked heads of institutions and colleges to support their drama teachers by providing transport, registration fees, subsistence and accommodation during the workshop period.
