TSC has released the list of teachers promoted after the interviews held in January and February 2025. This is part of the commission’s strategy to recognize and reward teachers for their service in the teaching profession.
Interviews and Process
Post primary school teachers’ interviews were held from January 27 to February 6, 2025 for secondary schools and Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs). Primary school teachers’ interviews were earlier held from January 13 to January 23, 2025.
The interviews were conducted by panels of Curriculum Support Officers (CSOs), Human Resource Officers and Sub-County Directors who verified the teachers’ credentials. Candidates presented their identity documents, academic certificates and other necessary documents to validate their eligibility for promotion.

- 50-54 years got 26 points.
- 45-49 years got 22 points.
